GUARDS POLO CLUB - ASCOT
Guards Polo Club, Ascot is host to a variety of Polo Days and hospitality events. Founded in 1955 with HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh as President.
Originally called the Household Brigade Polo Club, it was renamed in 1969. It is now the largest Polo Club in Europe in regards to membership and grounds. Set within the Great Park at Windsor, Berkshire it enjoys outstanding natural surroundings. The Club’s playing season begins in April and finishes in mid September.
Guards Polo Club is famous for the Queens Cup Tournament, Royal Windsor Tournament and the Archie David Tournament. In July each year the great showpiece occasion of the year is held at the Club – the Hurlingham Polo Association’s International Day sponsored by Cartier. Over 20,000 people attend this event, including 600 guests from the world of stage, screen, literature and fashion making it a wonderful opportunity to arrive in style in one of our Classic Rolls-Royce cars or a Classic Luxury Bentley.
